ABSTRACT
Most of my Architectural work involved my correcting the camera's distortion, I was set a challenge to compare my work with others from another photographer William Cheung who's architectural work revolves around distorted imaging. The angles and reflections have re-opened a style we were encouraged to explore at art college back in the early 70's. I consider these abstract in nature because they illustrate architectural angles that previously I would have ignored as being an optical illusion. I am beginning to appreciate the relationship between these odd angles and reflections and see them in a different light, They define a new change of architectural direction for me. |
